Hi Friends,
We, once again, had a great meeting at East Side Kosher Deli last night. For those who were there, we heard from leaders of Colorado Union of Taxpayers, Convention of States, Americans for Prosperity and Leadership Program of the Rockies. We heard from J-GOP member and HD 32 Candidate Al Jacobson as well. We had a great presentation and conversation with the Americhicks (Kim Monson and Molly Voght)
and had an opportunity to individually call US Senator Michael Bennet
to express our concern about President Obama's nuclear Iran deal.
Contact Sen Bennet at his Denver Metro Office, 1127 Sherman St., Suite 150, Denver, CO 80203 or Phone: 303-455-7600 or 866-455-9866.
I discussed the Western Conservative Summit and the Summit Shabbat services and Kiddush (Orthodox service and kosher Kiddush) under the supervision of Rabbi Zalman Popack and significant sponsorship from the Centennial Institute.
The J-GOP initially sponsored the event by committing $250 and helped
to organize a basic service in a room, but the Summit gratuitously
carved out a significant budget making it possible to easily feed 60 to
70 Friday night attendees as well as a Saturday service and Kiddush.
Please show your support by donating to Centennial Institute, Rabbi Popack and the J-GOP so together, we can make this an annual part of the Summit.
The
Jewish Republicans of Colorado is your place to go when your heart and
mind is troubled by current events. Remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Sincerely,
Dan Kopelman
J-GOP President
