January 18 Speaker: Lu Busse

Lu Busse, Member of The 9-12 Project Advisory Board (national), has a
Master's degree from Northwestern University in Illinois and worked as an
allied medical professional for 30 years. Lu describes her most rewarding
professional experience as the two decades she worked with cochlear implant
recipients along with their families, surgeons, and audiologists.
As president of a small homeowner's association, Lu persuaded over 2/3 of
the property owners to vote for dissolution after the Colorado General
Assembly passed an onerous new law - her personal victory in reducing
governmental control on individuals.

After advocating for some political issues and candidates over the years,
introduction of TARP I legislation in fall of 2008 motivated her to work
toward restoring our Republic and its Constitution for all generations. Lu
joined The 9/12 Project in March 2009 and was elected Chair of its Colorado
leadership team 3 months later. She helped found The 9/12 Project Colorado
Coalition.

Lu was appointed to the national 9/12 Project Advisory Board in February
2010 and currently is its state coordinator for Colorado. Her 6-year-old
grandson and 3-year-old granddaughter inspire and motivate her to volunteer
numerous hours per week to The 9/12 Project and its activities.

November 16 Meeting Reminder - speaker Sarah Anderson

Join us for the post election wrap up with J-GOP President, Gregory
Golyansky. Taxpayers in Colorado won this round with the defeat of Prop 103.

We only grow with your help!!

November 16 Speaker: Sarah Anderson

Sarah Anderson has been active in Colorado politics since 1998. She has
worked on every level of campaign, from City Council up to Presidential; and
done everything from volunteer on races to manage and consult for campaigns.

Most of her campaign experience comes from Colorado, but she has also worked
in Montana, Utah, Kentucky, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and several other
states. Most recently, she has gained some notoriety for her fight for
principle over power in the El Paso County Republican Party. After being
elected in February 2011, Sarah spent the next several months receiving gag
orders and being censured by the Party before resigning in September to do
what she does best-manage primary races in El Paso County and across the
state.
Sarah will be speaking about Principlism vs. Protectionism, the true battle
for the heart and soul of the Republican Party. She will draw on her
personal experience as well as the experiences of many others across the
United States who are fighting this same battle within county and state
Republican Parties.

Something to think about
El Paso County Republicans,
Madison Hamilton <mailto:madisonhamiltongop@gmail.com?> asks that you DO
NOT ATTEND THE REAGAN GALA SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 12th, 2011.
Norquist is no friend of Israel or our party. It is a shame that Chairman
Eli Bremer would sully the name of one of our great Republican presidents by
hosting this person. Please do not contribute to the local party by
attending this event. Ask for a refund if you have already paid. Send a
message to Chairman Bremer and Norquist that our party does not support
ideologies that seek the destruction of our civil liberties and the freedom
of religion.
From Pamela Geller's "Grover Norquist's Jihad":
"Grover Norquist's ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been
known for years. He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes -- who was
director of communications for his Islamic Free Market Institute until they
married in 2005 -- are very active in "Muslim outreach." Just six weeks
after 9/11, The New Republic ran an exposé explaining how Norquist arranged
for George W. Bush to meet with fifteen Islamic supremacists at the White
House on September 26, 2001 -- to show how Muslims rejected terrorism."

Irena Sendler
Died 12 May 2008
(age 98)

Someone to think about

Warsaw, Poland - During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw
ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist.

She had an 'ulterior motive'.
She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews (being German).

Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she
carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids).

She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi
soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto.

The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking
covered the kids/infants noises.
During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500
kids/infants.

She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her
severely.

Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept
them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard.

After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and
reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed
into foster family homes or adopted.

Last year (2007) Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize.
She was not selected.

President Obama won one year before becoming President for his work as a
community organizer for ACORN
Al Gore won also --- for a slide show on Global Warming.
Now, more than ever, with Iran , and others, claiming the HOLOCAUST to be 'a
myth'. It's imperative to make sure the world never forgets, because there
are others who would like to do it again.
