Happy Chanukah and Thanksgiving

This is a unique time for Americans and Jews in America. We are thankful for the miracle of our free market lighting the way to the rest of the world to prosperity and we are reminded that the idols of governments inflicted against a people can be upended by a small group of determined believers. Take this opportunity to remind everyone the pilgrims turned from socialism to the free market to survive.Have a wonderful and prosperous Thanksgiving.

Obamacare Exposed

A Congressional committee hearing discussing a hidden disclamer telling users of the Obamacare web site they have no reasonable expectation of privacy. Watch it, share it. Have a great Chanukkah, this is a bit of light for the holiday that may result in other gifts.

The Harry Reid option

Yet another step in the direction of oligarchy by the most dogmatic, liberal, leftist  senate leader ever. Reid will not bring up a single Republican bill for consideration and will blame them for the debacle that is ObamaCare when not one Republican supported it and warned of exactly the problems we now witness. On the bright side, when reason prevails and the Democratic party is ousted, a simple majority can be used to undo the bankrupted policies inflicted on America  Visit us at or on Facebook on our Colorado Jewish Republicans page.

Trust but verify

Will Israel be able to count on support from the current US administration if they have to take action against a nuclear Iran?

New signs of tension between U.S. and Israel over Iran talks - LA Times

"Many countries suspect Iran is seeking the ability to make nuclear weapons, though Iranian officials denies it.

Netanyahu, like many members of Congress, fears the White House may accept too lenient a deal, and he is urging stronger sanctions in hopes of making Tehran more willing to yield. He has strongly criticized the U.S.-led negotiating position, calling the proposed deal a"grievous, historic error.”"

Hello Iran, Goodbye America - Op-Eds - Israel National News

"Recently President Obama relinquished the power bestowed on him by the most powerful nation on earth, the use of military force to persuade an enemy to relent. This occurred when President Obama agreed to end the threat of a military strike against Syria by allowing Putin to broker a deal to put the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons exclusively under the auspices of the United Nations’ P5 1."

ObamaCare Readux

body { font-family: "Calibri","Slate Pro","sans-serif"; color:#262626 } The problem with the latest excuse for the failure that is ObamaCare is, it requires the restart of insurance plans that have been excluded from the carriers 2014 business plan. This is a new low, bad Democratic policy correction through dictate. The opponents of this program are proven right over and over, yet the media refuses to ask Dear Leader what he knew and when he knew it. Perhaps another $500 million for a newer and better web site would fix the latest fix?

Colorado Jewish Republicans

It seems our combined outrage over Amendment 66 was shared with a huge majority in Colorado. Perhaps sanity is returning to the electorate.

We need your support (or your membership dues) to help get the word out about us. November may be our last meeting if we do not hear from you with a $30 contribution for 2014 Dues.

Please visit the NEW and IMPROVED web site at, the donate button is on the left side. This is phase one of the face-lift that involves social media. If you are on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, please visit our fan page by searching for "Colorado Jewish Republicans" in any of those and becoming a friend, follower or member.

This month's speaker is Colorado State Senator Greg Brophy. He will be the third of the 4 candidates to speak (in case you missed it, Scott Gessler and Tom Tancredo have each spoken with us in the last few meetings).

Please don't forget your checkbook.

You may have also seen the ads on RTD busses accusing Israel of ethnic cleansing. Our friends at Americans Against Terrorism need your help to pay for counter ads pointing out the truth. Let us never forget Hitler and the Grand Mufti worked together to murder millions, yet Israeli Arabs have more rights in Israel than any Islamic controlled land anywhere in the world.

Join us on November 20th to hear why Greg Brophy believes he is the best Republican to challenge Democrat Governor John "Backwards Thinking" Hickenlooper.

Dan Kopelman
J-GOP President

Help counter misinformation

An editorial in Tuesdays' Denver Post helps point out the lies in the ads on some RTD buses and trains now running around downtown Denver.

Americans Against Terrorism is leading the fight back against this slanderous attack against Israel by buying ads on mall buses that tell people the truth: the Arab side has stated that they want no Jews in any territory they control; that Arabs burnt down synagogues (within minutes) after Jews left Gaza; and that by contrast, Arabs in Israel vote their representatives into the Kinneset, have a representative on the Prime Ministers' cabinet, and have an Arab supreme court justice.

We are pleased to announce that our first ads will roll out on buses this coming week!

Each ad is $1250. Can you help Israel by buying an ad or donating whatever you can towards the purchase of one?

Ads on RTD buses mislead on ethnic cleansing in Mideast - The Denver Post

"This is not a close call. You may criticize Israeli policy toward the Palestinians and peacemaking, or toward the Arabs within Israel (although they enjoy political rights that are the envy of most residents of the Middle East), but you cannot accuse Israel of ethnic cleansing and expect to be taken seriously by those familiar with the facts."

Happy November!

That is right, it is November and Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Get out and vote.
Just say No to new, higher, poorly used taxes.
Remember, the most efficient way to spend money is for your to spend your own on what you want or need. The least efficient is for others (government) to spend someone elses (yours) on what they think someone else wants or needs.
