If you have been following the news, it seems the education establishment, along
with the Hickenlooper administration, has collected enough signatures to support
a billion dollar tax hike on the 2013 ballot. They will be saying it is "for the
children" although we know it is really for the bureaucrats.
Our speaker has proposed and created real education reforms, reforms that will lead
to the next generation of education. One that really works rather than feeding money
into the same old failed system.

How Colorado Kids Can Win: Learn about scholarship tax credits, a type of school
choice program adopted by 13 other states that would open doors of opportunity
to many Colorado students in need.
Pamela Benigno has been the director of the influential Education Policy Center

since 1997. Besides managing the Center's many projects, Ms. Benigno briefs legislators
and school board members; speaks to local and national groups; and provides guest
commentary on local radio and television broadcasts. She has authored and co-authored
numerous publications on the topic of school choice. A former public school teacher
and homeschooling mother, she first became involved in school reform efforts in
1985.

gathering a small group of participants for a weekly rundown (approximatly 10 to
15 weeks for less than an hour one night a week).
